Can Kvinta Be Connected to Other Legacy Serialization and Traceability Systems?

Many global manufacturers already own Level 4 Track & Trace platforms such as SAP ATTP, TraceLink, Arvato, Antares, or Inexto to comply with serialization and reporting requirements in their main markets.

But regulations do not stand still. Manufacturers often face new challenges when:

  • Entering markets where Track & Trace regulations are already active (for example, the EU (EMVS, Tobacco Traceability System for TPD) or the CIS countries for multiple product categories.

  • Adapting to new regulations introduced in export destinations such as  Middle East and the US DSCSA and FSMA, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc.

  • Adding product groups that fall under newly introduced reporting obligations, like it’s happening with FMCG products on CIS market

  • Integrating new partners or acquisitions that already operate a different L4 solution.

In these cases, replacing the existing platform is rarely the right approach. Companies instead look for an additional solution that can integrate with their legacy system while covering new compliance needs.

Kvinta is designed for such scenarios. It can run in parallel with existing L4 platforms, exchange EPCIS data, and connect to regulatory reporting hubs. Kvinta has already been implemented as a dedicated Track & Trace system for new markets or newly regulated product groups, while the legacy solution continues to manage its original scope.

This approach enables manufacturers to stay compliant as new Track & Trace regulations appear globally, without disrupting their established IT landscape.
